This site has been developed to help Leaving Certificate
students of Physics and Applied Maths.
The physics section contains Java applet simulations
of all 24 Leaving Cert. Physics experiments.
The Applied Maths section contains simulations of
some of the more difficult connected particles problems.

About the author: I am a teacher of Physics and Applied Maths
(among other things) in Scoil Mhuire gan Smal, Blarney, Co. Cork,
Ireland. I have been dabbling in Java applet programming since 2003,
when I completed an M. Sc. in Computing in Education at Cork Institute
of Technology. I established at that time that students found simulations
of the Leaving Cert. Physics experiments to be very helpful. The simulations
are ideal for collecting data which can then be used for graphing
or calculation exercises.
